11:15 doesn't count as "the middle of the night" but it felt like it anyway. I had planned to wake up at 4 so I went to bed at 9ish. I even had a dream (it was in HD).
And now I can't fall back asleep. I've been struggling for about an hour or so.
I did the only thing any sensible person would do. I got up, went to the kitchen and ate a piece of cheesecake. Then I went to the bathroom to pee. All without turning on a single light.

You're brave. Often when I wake up in the middle of the night it's due to a panic attack, so I think either the world is coming to an end or that a ghost is in my room. Yea, don't ask me about ghosts. Bad experiences. But either way, I stay in my bed with eyes shut. I wish I could get up to eat cheesecake.
Just like yuri said....I did have a panic attack yesterday night and it sucked...i want cheesecake...
